Dr. sc. Goran Vrgoč, orthopedic specialist at the Department of Orthopedics KB Sveti Duh.
Dr. Vrgoč is a doctor of the Croatian Boxing Association, doctors of the Croatian judo team, club doctor of GNK Dinamo, club doctor of NK Lučko, external associate of the Department of Kinesiological Anthropology and Methodology and was a doctor of the Croatian youth football team.
He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Rijeka in 2007, where in 2018 he completed a postgraduate doctoral study in Biomedicine and obtained the title of Doctor of Science. He became an orthopedic specialist in 2015.
He studied in Lyon, Center Orthopedic Santy, FIFA Medical Center of Excellence, – knee and shoulder surgery, Stolzape, Zimmer Institute Medical Education Course – Primary and revision total knee endoprosthesis, Masterclass demanding primary and revision knee endoprosthesis, Biometterdam Institute knee, Rotterdam – BioSkills Shoulder Arthroscopy Advanced Course, Salzburg, Open Medical Institute – Bone and Joint Surgery, HNS, UEFA training of football doctors – Emergencies in football players and in many other medical institutions.
He is a member of the Croatian Orthopedic Society, the Croatian Society of Emergency Medicine, the Croatian Society of Resuscitation and many others. Author and co-author of 17 scientific articles cited in scientific databases. Numerous oral and poster presentations at international congresses.
He has extensive experience working with athletes. He applies the latest techniques in the field of orthopedics and sports medicine. Follow the patient from the moment of diagnosis until complete recovery.
