Scalp diseases

Scalp diseases include various forms of scarring and non-scarring alopecia (baldness), and can occur alone or as part of inflammatory and infectious skin diseases (psoriasis, lupus, lichen, seborrheic dermatitis, fungal infections…).

Diagnosis

In the diagnosis of scalp disease, we use trichodermatoscopy with the aim of timely diagnosis, and then treatment and prevention of irreversible scarring and permanent hair loss.
