Ultrasound examinations of children's hips
Did you know that early ultrasound screening of hip developmental disorder is the best method for early diagnosis and treatment? It is recommended that all children (so-called non-selective screening) between 4 and 6 weeks of age undergo an ultrasound examination of the hips. The reason is that it is then possible to apply many methods of treatment and prevent the premature development of degenerative changes and the need for an artificial hip in the early 50s of adulthood. Our pediatric hip orthopedists will perform hip ultrasound quickly and professionally, and recommend further treatment.
